For program crash problems:
- Update program: Make sure you're using the latest version of the program
- Update Windows: Install all Windows updates
- Update drivers: Especially update graphics card and chipset drivers
- Try compatibility mode: Right-click program's .exe file and enable compatibility mode
- Reinstall program: Remove and reinstall the program
- Check RAM and disk: Check for RAM and disk errors
- Antivirus check: Make sure antivirus software is not blocking the program
- Check Windows Event Viewer: Check Event Viewer to see error details
Striped or blurry printing is usually caused by the following reasons:
- Low ink/toner level: Check ink or toner level, replace if necessary.
- Print head clogged: Perform print head cleaning (from printer settings).
- Paper quality: Using inappropriate paper can cause problems, use quality paper.
- Print head misaligned: Perform print head alignment.
- Ink cartridge faulty: Remove and clean the cartridge, install new cartridge if necessary.
- Printer settings: Set print quality to high in printer settings.
- Toner leakage in laser printers: Check toner cartridge, clean if there is leakage.
For Office activation problems:
- Check your Microsoft account: Check that your Microsoft account is correctly signed in from File > Account section in Office application.
- Reinstall Office: Completely remove and reinstall Office.
- Reset Office license: Run command prompt as administrator and run these commands:
- cd "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16" (may vary by Office version)
- ospp.vbs /act
- Check internet connection: Internet connection is required for activation.
- Check antivirus software: Antivirus software may be blocking Office activation, temporarily disable it.
- Contact Microsoft support: If problem persists, contact Microsoft Office support.
Symptoms of RAM problems:
- Blue screen errors: Especially memory-related error codes (0x0000001A, 0x00000050)
- Random crashes: Programs or system shutting down unexpectedly
- Slow performance: Computer running much slower than normal
- Data corruption: Files getting corrupted or not saving
To test RAM:
- Run "Windows Memory Diagnostic" tool in Windows
- Restart computer and test will run automatically
- Check test results
If RAM is faulty, you need to replace the faulty RAM module.
For Wi-Fi connection problems:
- Make sure Wi-Fi is on: Check that Wi-Fi button or Fn key combination is active on laptop
- Restart modem/router: Turn off modem or router, wait 30 seconds and turn it back on
- Update network driver: Update Wi-Fi driver from Device Manager
- Reset network connection: Run command prompt as administrator and run these commands:
- ipconfig /release
- ipconfig /renew
- ipconfig /flushdns
- Check Wi-Fi password: Make sure password is correct
- Check distance: If you're too far from modem/router, try getting closer
- Check firewall: Windows Firewall may be blocking Wi-Fi connection
